Recently, the 3rd Brazil Breast Forum was successfully held in Brazil, bringing together leading experts and scholars from across the globe in the field of breast disease diagnosis and treatment to explore cutting-edge advancements in the industry. Dr. Tao Tanfrom the Intelligent Medical Computing Laboratory at Macao Polytechnic University was invited to attend and delivered a keynote lecture on the application of artificial intelligence in breast cancer. With profound technical expertise and forward-looking research perspectives, his presentation garnered widespread attention and high recognition from the international community.
As one of the most common malignancies among women worldwide, early diagnosis, precise treatment, and accurate management of breast cancer have long been critical challenges in the medical field. In his lecture, Dr. Tao Tan provided an in-depth discussion on the application of AI technology across key stages of breast cancer care—including medical imaging diagnosis, treatment efficacy evaluation, and prognosis prediction.
