The team from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Macao Polytechnic University, together with Shenzhen University, Shenzhen duying Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and seven medical centers, developed a generative artificial intelligence model fetalflex for fetal ultrasound multi-facet. This research achievement has been received by medical image analysis (impact factor 11.8), the top publication in the field of medical image. This innovative framework uses anatomical structure and multimodal information to realize controllable fetal ultrasound image synthesis across multiple planes.

The research results, entitled "fetalflex: anatomy guided diffusion model for flexible control on fetal ultrasound image synthesis", were published in the international top journal medical image analysis. Medical image analysis is Elsevier's top journal focusing on medical and biological image analysis. It is also included in SCI, Scopus and other international authoritative databases. The latest impact factor of the journal is 11.8, which is in a leading position in the field of medical image computing.
